CSR Statement
It is with great pleasure that I introduce Jinan Hotels & Resorts’ first annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report, which indicates the link between Jinan Hotels & Resorts’ service activities and the positive impact on the environment they bring.
While this is a new company, it is being led by a team of hotel experts and they recognize the importance of the environment and the role of making the changes. It will take a great effort and further work to undertake in order to deliver the right image and the best practice to achieve the philosophy of LIVINGMORE.
This report will show all the basis of our obligations to our team and the local community, and what we will share and provide for all of them for years to come.

CSR Leadership
The CSR Leadership is driven by the company’s entire team. With the full support of our owners, we all aim to deliver our CSR policy, which will support the company and the community culture and will develop improved actions and awareness amongst our colleagues at all levels; this will allow them to focus on supporting our values.
Jinan Hotels & Resorts shall promote the construction of Eco-friendly hotels by using environmentally friendly construction processes and materials. To warrant the use of the title “Eco-friendly hotels”, we shall use locally sourced materials, eco-based products, while maximizing the use of the weather’s natural resources for hotel operations. This will ensure that the use of such resources as wind, water and light continue for many years to come.
We recognize the environmental impact of the construction process itself both on the local communities and the ecological make-up of the surrounding natural habitat.
The landscape shall be designed to compliment the indigenous vegetation in order to reduce or eliminate irrigation requirements. Grey water will be used for landscape irrigation.
The building envelope and systems design will maximize energy performance. All Cooling Systems will have CFC refrigerant-free systems.
Low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emitting paints, carpet products etc. will be specified for all hotel interiors.
Properties managed by Jinan Hotels & Resorts will protect the environment by the implementation of realistic and practical programmes as an integral part of the hotel operations that:

- Efficiently manage and minimize our waste production, to the benefit of the environment.
- Utilize products and materials that have the least negative impact on the environment, and are beneficial whenever possible, both in their use and source of origin.
- Pursue action programmes benefiting the environment in the local community.
- Foster the education of environmental awareness both internally and externally.
